I was looking for a very distinct flooring for our cottage remodel, and was having trouble finding any samples in my area to even look at. I was interested in a beach house, or true cottage look of a worn floor. I was not only looking for a worn look, I was interested in a look of a plank floor painted white, with years of wear taking off the paint. I was able to find a company that produced such a thing, but there were no distributors close to my location. My local flooring store was willing to help by acting as the distributor. I was given a price by the company, as well as the shipping cost to get it to my local area. While researching the flooring online, I came across Best Laminate carrying the exact floor, from the original German manufacturer. I was thrilled and scared all at the same time. The price I received from my local store acting as distributor was twice as much as Best Laminate, and as a nationwide shipper in my own business, their shipping charges were a far cry from fair. I decided to give Best Laminate a try and hesitantly dialed the number. What a surprise to talk to a great guy named Fred, who was able to answer my questions and was more than happy to help me place my order. I thought it over that evening and ordered the next morning. Fred was at the “ready” with everything I needed. My order arrived when promised, and I have yet to have it installed, as the cabinets have just arrived, but I am extremely happy with the product and service from Best Laminate.
