Where to use it?
Similar to the End Cap, this transition molding is sloped on one side, essentially tapering off the floor as opposed to capping it. This piece is used for any transition where the two floors are not even with each other- laminate-to-tile/ wood/ laminate/ etc, where one floor sits higher than the other.
Installation
Secure the mounting track to the sub-floor directly between the two floor surfaces, either by nailing (wood sub-floor) or drilling holes and anchoring screws into the floor( cement sub-floor). Once your track is fixed to the sub-floor, simply snap the moldings into place.
